Tri-level Stone Gau

A gau is a Tibetan Buddhist amulet, used for carrying and preserving powerful sacred objects.

Two levels of coral are topped with a turquoise stone at the top level. The silver container opens at the back. It has a conspicuous silver loop through which to pass a neckchain.
