Sacred Treasures Returns Policy

At Sacred Treasures we are committed to authentic quality merchandise and customer contentment. Thus, each item is carefully inspected and photographed for authentication and condition, prior to packaging and despatch.

Authentic handcrafted goods
Many goods are handcrafted, so variations in shape, colour, texture etc. are considered as inherent and desirable. Such crafted characteristics will not be regarded as faults or defects. 

Handled with care
Additionally, all Sacred Treasures packaging and postage is carefully organised to ensure your purchases arrive in shop condition. We cannot, however be held responsible for handling by various postal and freight organisations. We suggest, for items of great personal and/or financial value, that you elect to have your purchase insured. 

However, sometimes…
…things don't go as expected and you will need to exchange, replace or seek a credit voucher. Sacred Treasures has a policy of no refunds. Rather we will in certain cases (eg defect or genuine wrong size) replace/exchange goods or provide a credit voucher. For all conditions that apply see below.



Notification and Return: 30 + 7 Day Limit
Our returns policy lasts 30 daysThat is, you must notify us by email within 30 days and we must receive the return goods within 7 business days after this, at the latest, for you to receive an exchange. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase without notification, we will not offer either. 

Notification email: 

Please download and email us the Returns Notification Form and also include a copy of this in the return package with the goods being returned.

Unused, in original packaging
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (within reason).

Proof of purchase 
To accept and process your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Reason for return
To be eligible for a return the goods must be defective, or there must be a reasonable reason for the exchange/return rather than just a “change of mind”. Please note that Sacred Treasures cannot be held responsible for damage/loss during postage/courier service.

Sale items 
Sale items under $50 will not be refunded. However sale items over $50 may be exchanged for other items or credit.

Non-returnable goods
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items are:
Gift cards, Downloadable software products, some health and personal care items.

Returns postage
In the case of returned defective goods, we will cover your postage costs for both your return and for sending you the exchange item, the latter limited to the original postage cost. Any extra postage costs will be charged to you (eg if a small item is exchanged for a larger, heavier one, or additional postal insurance is required).

In the case of non-defective goods being returned for exchange/credit voucher all postage charges (return and reissue) are at your cost.

Postal damage is not covered, unless goods are insured for this and then this is covered by the insurance policy.

Value of exchange/credit voucher
We will exchange defective goods for credit/gift vouchers to the value of returned items plus incurred postage charges.

Please note: Do advise us if you require trackable postage and/or insurance for the re-issue (recommended for valuable goods). This is at your own cost.
